Doyêko-doyêko Ratê (/doˈjɘko/ /doˈjɘko/ [slope; slant] [slope; slant]) is a subtropical Large City located in the Gêngípíêpíêè Zone of the Engineer's Guild.

The name Doyêko-doyêko Ratê is derived from the Sylvin language, as Doyêko-doyêko Ratê was founded by Dendromalis, who was culturaly Iron Elf.

Climate

Doyêko-doyêko Ratê has a yearly average temperature of 24°C (75°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 26°C (78°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 22°C (71°F). Doyêko-doyêko Ratê receives an average of 217 cm/y (85 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Overview

Doyêko-doyêko Ratê was founded durring the late 13th century in winter of the year 1168, by Dendromalis. The establishment of Doyêko-doyêko Ratê suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Doyêko-doyêko Ratê was built using the conventions of Iron Elf durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Doyêko-doyêko Ratê is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Doyêko-doyêko Ratê is buildings are arranged arround a network of narrow paverstone streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The city resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. The city's robustly designed timber walls are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the city's defences.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Doyêko-doyêko Ratê's natural decorations nor waterways.

Cultural Notes

Doyêko-doyêko Ratê's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its striking sculptural forms and often dazzling ornamental detail that characterizes the buildings general shape. The radiant colors, rich patterns, and symmetrical silhouettes employed by this style were backed up by rich decorative features including gardens, courtyards, extruded arches, domes, pointed domes, vaulted ceilings, elaborate painted and inlaid designs, and decorative sculptures.

Due to the actions of local Kami, winter is short in Doyêko-doyêko Ratê.
